Today, when we talk about renewable energy sources we usually mean solar energy, wind power, and water (hydroelectric or watermill) power. Until recently, methane hydrates had never been tapped as a source of energy to meet increasing global demands. It has been generally considered that other sources of fossil fuels – notably conventional oil and gas (and more recently shale) – have been easier and cheaper to access. Step 1: Go to Document Search and type key words “Methane Hydrates” or “Methane Clathrate” (Need to use double quote) in “Article Title, Abstract, Keywords” search.

Step 2: Go to Refine on the left-hand side of the page and click on the “View more” link to search for which year the first paper is indexed in Scopus.

This new feature shows how many times Mendeley users have downloaded a specific article to their libraries. Additionally, it also shows a demographic breakdown by discipline, academic status ,and country of origin.
Based on its Mendeley readership statistics, please find the most readers of the second highly cited article come from using these following simple steps.

Look for the Mendeley readership statistic window on the right-hand side of the page and search for the first listed discipline.

Tips:What is h-index 
h-index (高被引指數(highly cited index)的簡稱)為加州大學聖地亞哥分校凝態物理學家 Hirsch 教授於 2005 年所發展,用於評量個別研究學者績效的影響及數量。Scopus h-index是計算 1996 年以後發表的文章的引用次數。
舉例來說,某學者文獻發表總篇數有100篇,h-index為25,則表示這100篇文獻中,有25篇至少被引用25次以上。
The h-index is an index that attempts to measure both the productivity and impact of the published work of a scientist or scholar. The index was suggested by Jorge E. Hirsch, a physicist at UCSD. Scopus h-index counts citations to literature from 1995 onwards.
For example,  an author publishes 100 papers and his/her is h-index=25.  It indicates this author has at least 25 papers cited at least 25 times.
