Arnout
Jacobs is Elsevier’s
director of strategy and business development in the Asia Pacific region, based
in Singapore. From 2005 to 2008, he worked in Elsevier Beijing office, where he
built an editorial support team that deals with 200,000 international
manuscripts each year. He also set up local author education efforts in
cooperation with our editors worldwide, and has presented around 15 author
workshops himself.
Prior to
China, Arnout was based in Elsevier’s
Amsterdam headquarters, where he developed large electronic reference works,
|
|
|
including Comprehensive
Glycoscience, and one on Micromechanical Systems.
He also has experience running journal portfolios in Neuropsychology,
while working in the Philadelphia region. |
